U.S.-Led Coalition Accuses Chinese Firms of Aiding State-Linked Hacking
A coalition of nations led by the United States has publicly accused three Chinese companies of supporting cyber-espionage campaigns linked to domestic intelligence agencies. The advisory names Sichuan Juxinhe Network Technology, Beijing Huanyu Tianqiong Information Technology, and Sichuan Zhixin Ruijie Network Technology as providers of cyber-related services to Chinese intelligence.
The joint statement, signed by the Five Eyes alliance and several European and Asian governments, marks one of the most coordinated international responses to alleged Chinese hacking activity. Sichuan Juxinhe has previously faced U.S. sanctions for its ties to the hacking group 'Salt Typhoon,' accused of stealing American telecommunications data.
